Objective

To form bachelors in law in a critical perspective, constructing a new legal praxis sedimented in the social reality of his time, assuring them solid general, technical, humanistic and axiological formation, as well as ethical principles that allow the use of law as an instrument of social transformation and citizenship building.

  • Provide adequate basic and interdisciplinary training that enables the student to understand the juridical phenomenon and social transformations, as well as to act with critical sense, professional ethics, social responsibility and understanding of the causality of legal norms;
  • To offer the bachelor of Laws specific knowledge that enables him to defend the rights and interests entrusted to them, to maintain the prestige of his class, the dignity of the judiciary and the perfection of legal institutions and everything that matters to the legal order;
  • Foster legal practice, allowing the student to form with the capacity and independence to act in the law;
  • Stimulate the ethical-social commitment to serve the less favored community, in harmony with a new democratic, solidary, just and participatory social order;
  • To promote an integrated work with active, critical and creative participation of all those involved in legal education, in permanent dialogue with the organs of the class, public bodies;

Job Market

The Bachelor of Law can join the law, provide advice and advice, join the Magistracy, Public Prosecutors, Public Defenders, Prosecutors, Police Departments, become a judicial analyst, among others. Work in financial institutions, non-governmental organizations, civil society organizations of public interest, regulatory agencies, political parties, trade unions and social movements, as a consultant, legal adviser, or in the technical defense of the interests of these organizations.
